These publications begin in 1980 and contain indexes of the Advocate Newspaper's personal announcements, (births, deaths and marriages). Over the years the indexing has expanded to include engagements, anniversaries and for a time, in memoriams.
Up until 1997 each volume contains five years records of events, however after that date they are published as annual volumes. As much information as space allows is given in each record to ensure maximum identification, but in many cases there is further information to be found in the original announcement. The original entries are available for viewing and photocopying in the Branch Library at Latrobe.
